DC faced SRH in the 10th match of IPL 2025 at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.
SRH won the toss, elected to bat, posted the total of 163 in 18.4 overs, where as DC chased SRH, scoring 166 for 3 in 16 overs, and won the match.
In powerplay, SRH scored 58/4 in 6 overs, where as DC scored 52 runs without losing any wicket.
DC’s bowler - M Starc 5 Wickets in 35 runs and Kuldeep Yadav 3 wkts in 22 runs. SRH’s Zeeshan Ansari captured 3 wkts.
DC batting – Fraser 38 off 32, Du Plessis 50 off 27, and Porel 34 off 18. SRH Batting – Aniket Verma 74 off 41 and Klassen 32 off 19.
SRH’s Klassen (32 off 19 balls) and Aniket Varma (42 off 23 balls) managed to establish of 77 runs of partnership.
In spite of initial collapse, SRH maintained constant run rate of 10 runs per over.
In middle overs, SRH collapse continued, pressurized by DC bowlers, whereas DC played fantastic game.
Delhi Capitals won the match 166/3 in 16 overs by 7 wkts, successfully chasing down the target, marking a thrilling finish.
