On 11th April 2025, the IPL match No. 25 was played at Chepauk Cricket Stadium, Chennai, Tamil Nadu between CSK and KKR.

KKR Captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss. After looking at the pitch, he decided to bowl, letting CSK to bat first.

CSK scored the total of 31 for 2 wkts, whereas in return, Kolkata Knight Riders put 71 for 1 wkt on the scoreboard in 6 overs.

CSK collapsed against KKR’s brilliant bowling, making 103 for 9 wkts in 20 overs. S Dube made 31 off 29, & V Shankar 29off 21. 

KKR’s Bowling was brilliant. S Narine took 3 wkts off 13, V Chakravarthy 2 off 22, H Rana 2 off 16, and M Ali 1 wkt off 20.

KKR’s beginning was blistering. Narine 44 off 18, D Kock 23 off 16, Rahane 20 off 17, finishing with 107/2 in 10.1 overs. 

CSK’s bowling was lacklustre and ineffective. Anshul Kamboj took 1 wkt off 19 runs and Noor Ahmad captured 1 off 8. 

KKR’s spinner S Narine’s played explosive game, taking 2 wkts off just 13 runs and scoring 44 runs off 18 bowls. 

KKR won the match with 107/2 in just 10.1 overs, surpassing the target of 104 from CSK, who could score 103/9 in 20 overs.
