On 14th April 2025, the IPL match No. 30 played at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh between CSK and LSG.

CSK Captain M S Dhoni won the toss. After considering the pitch condition, he decided to bowl first, letting LSG to bat.

LSG scored the total of 42 for 2 wkts. On the other side, Chennai Super King put 59 for 1 on the scoreboard in 6 overs.

LSG started the inning modestly. Rishabh 63 off 49, Marsh 30 off 26, and Badoni 22 off 17, finishing with 166/7 in 20 overs. 

CSK’s bowling was tight, stopped LSG for big score. R Jadeja took 2 wkts off 24, M Pathirana 2 off 45, and A Kamboj 1 for 20.   

CSK started impressively. S Dube 43 off 37, R Ravindran 37 off 22, and M S Dhoni 26 runs off 11 bowls, finishing at 168/5.

CSK bowling didn’t seem so impressive. Bishnoi took 2 wkts off 18. And D Singh, A Khan, and A Markram took 1 wkt each.

LSG Captain Rishabh Pant played a smashing game, contributing 63 runs off 49 with 4 4s and 4 6s at striking rate of 128. 

Shivam Dube played an impressive inning, making 43 off 37 with 3 fours and 2 sixes, leading the team to the victory.

LSG gave CSK a target of 167 runs. With commanding batting, CSK team scored 168 for 5 wkts in 19.3 overs and won the match.
