On 22st April 2025, the IPL match No. 40 played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh between LSG and DC.
DC Captain Axar Patel won the toss. After considering the pitch condition, he decided to bowl first, letting LSG to bat.

LSG’s Aiden Markram played commanding inning, contributing 52 runs off 33 with 2 fours and 3 Sixes at striking rate of 158.
DC’s K L Rahul impressive inning, contributing 57 runs off 42 balls with 3 fours and 3 Sixes at striking rate of 136.
LSG gave DC a target of 160 runs. With some explosive batting, DC scored 161 for 2 wkts in 17.5 overs and Won the match.
