On 19th April 2025, the IPL match No. 35 played at the Narendra Modi Stadium Ahmedabad, Gujarat between DC and GT.

GT Captain Subman Gill won the toss. After considering the pitch condition, he decided to bowl first, letting DC to bat.

DC scored the total of 73 for 2 wkts. On the other side, GT could put 67 for 1 wkt on the scoreboard in 6 overs.

DC’s beginning was impressive. They made 203/8. Axar 39 off 32, Ashutosh Sharma 37 off 19, and Karun Nair 31 off 18. 

GT’s bowling was a bit expensive. Prasidh took 4 wkts off 41, M Siraj 1 off 47, A Khan 1 off 46, I Sharma 1 off 19 runs.   

GT started brilliant. Butler 97 off 54, Rutherford 43 off 34, Sudharsan 36 off 21, finished at 204/3 in 19.2 overs.

DC’s bowling was ineffective and unimpressive. Mukesh Kumar took 1 off 40 runs, and K Yadav captured 1 off 30 runs.

GT’s J Butler played a smashing inning, contributing 97 runs off 54 with 11 fours and 4 Sixes at striking rate of 180.

DC’s Axar Patel played explosive inning, contributing 39 runs off 32 with 1 four and 2 Sixes at striking rate of 122. 

DC gave DC a target of 204 runs. With blistering batting, GT team chased 204 for 3 wkts in 19.2 overs and won the match.
