On 12th April 2025, the IPL match No. 27 played at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad, Telangana between SRH and PBKS.

PBKS Captain Shreyash Iyer won the toss. After considering a batting pitch, he decided to bat first, letting SRH to bowl.

SRH scored the total of 89 for 1 wkt, whereas in return, Sunrisers Hyderabad put 83 for No Loss on the scoreboard in 6 overs.

PBKS’s beginning was blistering. Shreyash 82 off 38 with, Stoinis 34 off 11, P Singh 42 off 23, finishing with 245/6 in 20 overs. 

SRH’s bowling was expensive as well as ineffective. H Patel took 4 wkts off 42 runs and E Malinga captured 2 off 45. 

SRH’s Abhishek Sharma played a brilliant inning, making 141 off 55 and Travis Head contributed critical 66 runs off 37 bowls.

PBKS bowling was ineffective and too expensive. Arshdeep Sing took 1 wkt off 37 and Y Chahal captured 1 wkt for 56 runs.

PBKS’s Shreyash Iyer played a blistering inning, contributing 82 runs off 36 with 6 4s and 6 6s at striking rate of 228. 

Abhishek set the field on fire, scoring his first century, making 141 off 55 with 14 4s & 10 6s, and changing the tone of the game.

PBKS gave SRH a target of 246 runs. With blistering batting, SRH team scored 247 for 2 wkts in 18.3 overs and won the match.
