On 13th April 2025, the IPL match No. 28 played at Sawai Man Singh Cricket Stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan between RR and RCB.

RCB Captain Rajat Patidar won the toss. After considering the pitch condition, he decided to bowl first, letting RCB to bat.

RR scored the total of 45 for No Loss, whereas in return, Royal challengers put 65 for No Loss on the scoreboard in 6 overs.

RR had a modest start to their innings. Jaiswal 75 off 47, Jurel 35 off 23, R Parag 30 off 22, finishing with 173/4 in 20 overs. 

RCB’s bowling was tight but lacked breakthrough impact. B Kumar, Y Dayal, J Hazlewood, and K Pandya capture 1 wkt each.  

RCB’s batting performance was impressive. Phil Salt score a brilliant 65 off 33, Kohli 62 off 45, Padikkal 40 runs off 28 bowls.

RR bowling didn’t seem so impressive. They could take 1 wkt. Kartikeya was the bowler who took 1 wkt off 25 runs.

RR’s Yashasvi Jaiswal played a blistering inning, contributing 75 runs off 47 with 10 4s and 2 6s at striking rate of 158. 

Virat Kohli played a commanding inning, making 62 runs off 45 with 4 fours and 2 sixes, leading the team to the victory.

RR gave RCB a target of 174 runs. With commanding batting, RCB team scored 175 for 1 wkt in 17.3 overs and won the match.
